Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport is searching for a full-time Breakfast Busperson/Dishwasher to join their team!

The ideal candidate will have prior restaurant experience, excellent multitasking skills, a strong work ethic, and be familiar with high-volume operations. Hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Shift Pattern: Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required.

Pay Rate: $15.50 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Breakfast Busperson/Dishwasher, you would be responsible for preparing and replenishing food and beverage service in the Complimentary Breakfast to deliver an excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Complete opening and closing side work, including stocking serviceware, tending to coffee equipment, and retrieving food and beverages for the Complimentary Breakfast
• Maintain and clean kitchen and designated food stations; restock supplies and equipment as needed
• Organize and display breakfast and bar setups according to established standards, including ice, condiments, and beverage presentation
• Set and prepare dining tables, including folding napkins, placing tableware, and serving water
• Ensure all chinaware, silverware, and tableware are clean, functional, and properly stored; report any defects for repair
• Assist servers with table service, including serving beverages and bread
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area; wash dishes, scrub pots and pans, and operate the dishwasher
• Polish and maintain silver items as needed
• Perform general cleaning duties, including mopping and trash removal
• Prepare and place clean serviceware for events and functions; transport and store serviceware appropriately
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain quality standards for all serviceware
• Train new stewards as needed
