Job Description

Bacchus Management Group is a boutique Bay-Area based restaurant and hospitality business, specializing in food, wine, spirits, coffee, and consulting. Bacchus owns and oversees the operations of several of the most awarded restaurants in Northern California, including Michelin-starred restaurants The Village Pub in Woodside, Selby’s in Atherton, and   Wine Spectator   Grand Award-winning Spruce, Selbys and The VIllage Pub. We also operate two Pizza Antica locations (Lafayette, San Jose). In addition to our full-service restaurants, Bacchus has a wholesale coffee and custom roasting business, a bespoke chocolate company, key collaborations with international winemakers and spirits distillers, and a newly opened commissary baking space, providing pastries and breads for the restaurants.

Bacchus was built on a foundation of warm and gracious hospitality and a belief that every person should leave a Bacchus experience happier than when they arrived.

Job Summary:

The Chef de Cuisine upholds our very high standards as it relates to food and product integrity, training and management of all back of house staff.

  • You have a strong passion for culinary excellence, and you are exceptionally detailed.
  • You’re resilient in stressful situations and always able to handle last minute requests.
  • For more than 4 years, as a chef, you’ve been a key ingredient in the success of a full service, high-volume restaurant.
  • You have basic knowledge and understanding of financial aspects of business operations.
  • You are caring, self-motivated and exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence.
