Position Title: Dental Hygienist
Loccation: Alpharetta, GA
Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to work alongside dentists and provide a high level of oral health care to patients. This role requires a balance of clinical expertise, patient education, and excellent customer service skills in a team-based environment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide oral hygiene treatment and patient education in accordance with state guidelines and regulations
Apply fluoride and protective sealants
Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line
Provide nutritional counseling and preventive self-care programs
Record and review patient medical histories
Uphold HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Contribute to team efforts and assist with office operations as needed
Order and manage inventory supplies
Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
Medical/clinical setting with standard equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones
Well-lit, sterile environment requiring gloves, masks, protective eyewear, and clothing
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and physical risks; OSHA training required
Physical Demands:
Frequent talking, listening, standing/sitting for long periods, walking, and handling instruments
Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds
Regular exposure to clinical risks inherent in dental environments

Skills Required:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) preferred
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Certifications:
Current State Dental Hygiene License
CPR Certification
