Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Educational Funding Specialist to support prospective and currently enrolled students in securing the financial aid they need to pursue their career education. This role involves the day-to-day evaluation, processing, and awarding of financial aid, as well as providing valuable guidance to students and families throughout the financial aid process.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the recruitment team, offering expert financial aid advice and guidance.
Assist prospective and current students (and their families) in completing financial aid forms, explain available financing options, and provide clear direction throughout the process.
Calculate financial aid awards, conduct verifications, and resolve any discrepancies in applicant information on a daily basis.
Support a collaborative enrollment management model to enhance overall campus success.
Maintain exceptional customer service, ensuring financial aid applicants and recipients have a positive and supportive experience.

Position Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a background in financial aid.
Solid understanding of financial aid processes and procedures.
Knowledge of current regulations related to the release of student information.
Ability to handle confidential financial records with discretion and integrity.
Proficiency in common software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workflow efficiently.

Salary: $ 20.00 25.00 Per Hour
