General Laborer / Firewatch / Confined Space Attendant – Shutdown Project
Location: Springfield, OR
Job Type: Temporary – Project-Based (Shutdown)
Project Dates: September 9 - 27
Shifts Available: Day and Night shifts
Positions Available: 9–10
Pay Rate:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)

• Daily Per Diem (amount disclosed upon interview)
  Overtime Pay: Eligible if overtime is triggered by client contract

Position Summary:
Greenberry Industrial is seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our shutdown team as General Laborers, Firewatch, and Confined Space Attendants for a 9-day industrial shutdown project in Springfield, Oregon. This is a temporary assignment requiring a strong work ethic, adherence to safety protocols, and flexibility with shifts and work hours. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor hot work operations and maintain fire safety protocols (Firewatch)
• Observe and communicate with personnel entering and working in confined spaces to ensure safety (Confined Space Attendant)
• Perform general labor duties including site clean-up, equipment handling, and support for skilled trades
• Follow all site-specific and OSHA safety regulations
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to supervisors
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in tight or elevated spaces

Qualifications:

• Prior industrial, construction, or shutdown experience preferred
• Familiarity with Firewatch and/or Confined Space Attendant responsibilities is a plus (training may be provided)
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift (50-75 lbs), and work extended shifts (10-12 hours on your feet)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and any required site-specific safety training

Schedule:

• 10-day shutdown in September (exact dates provided upon selection)
• Day and night shift coverage required – applicants must be flexible
• Potential for extended hours based on site needs and overtime eligibility per client contract

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20.00 – $22.00/hour depending on experience
• Daily Per Diem for eligible out-of-area workers
• Overtime pay in accordance with client contract terms
