Job Description

Summary: Yonex USA specializes in producing technologically advanced sports equipment to enable players, both amateur and professional, to play tennis, badminton, golf, snowboard, and pickleball at a higher level. The Golf Tour Representative will provide on-the-ground support to our sponsored LPGA players at professional tournaments. This role involves direct communication with players, assisting with equipment needs, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure our players have the best tools and support to perform at their highest level. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for sponsored players, handling all inquiries and facilitating communication between the player and Yonex Quickly assess player needs regarding equipment and communicate them to the custom-fitting team Provide on-site assistance to sponsored players, ensuring they have the necessary support throughout tournaments and promotional events Attend and oversee equipment testing sessions, gathering data to help players make informed decisions and provide detailed feedback to R&D Represent the company at tournaments, media events, and promotional activities as needed Organize and conduct demo events to showcase equipment and provide hands-on testing opportunities for players and potential customers Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Deep understanding of golf equipment, club fitting, and player performance needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with sponsored players and key stakeholders Ability to travel extensively and adapt to dynamic schedules Passion for golf and a commitment to providing top-tier service Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills: ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating empathy active listening, and effective communication to resolve issues and meet customer needs; Capable of managing challenging interactions with professionalism and patience, fostering trust and ensuring customer satisfaction. Event Coordination: Strong organizational skills in coordinating golf events, tournaments, and tours. Ability to manage logistics, schedules, and accommodations while ensuring seamless execution Teamwork: Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team spirit; Puts success of team above own interests; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.
