Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.
As the Senior Social Analytics Manager at Amazon MGM Studios, you will spearhead the evolution of social media measurement and insights and unlocking insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape entertainment marketing strategy while working with prestigious IPs and innovative minds in the industry.
Working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, this role will balance effective program management with day-to-day ownership of social data to drive insights and actions. The successful candidate will lead global social analytics and research work, focusing on assessing and auditing our social media presence globally, supporting program creation for audience engagement, and measuring success in strengthening Amazon's brand.
The ideal candidate is a builder who excels at distilling complex data into distinct, clear strategies. As a natural analyst, you are detail-oriented and possess expertise in social media analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders. You are proficient with business intelligence and social analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Sprinklr, Meltwater) and can partner with business leaders to deep-dive into data to solve complex business problems. You understand social media landscapes and can combine good judgment with data to guide channel strategy. Being analytical, organized, curious, and able to work backwards from business problems is essential, along with strong cross-team coordination, project management, and writing skills. This role reports into the Head of Social Strategy and Operations in the Amazon MGM Studios Social and Influencer team.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and evolve global measurement framework for our global tentpoles and social priority titles
- Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and reporting processes to effectively track and communicate performance metrics internally
- Oversee managed services agency relationship, operationalizing their scope to optimize reporting capabilities and ensure alignment with team needs
- Translate key business questions related to audience, content, or channel into research and analysis, defining the sets of data required for each project
- Manage the team's goal setting/tracking program, and present results to senior leaders
- Counsel social media managers on how to tell a story with data, which metrics to prioritize, and how to draw insights from data
- Lead social listening efforts to better understand our audiences and key communications topics.
- Work cross-functionally with other analytics, reporting, and research teams to develop and share best practices and learnings, define and refine benchmarks, and develop best-in-class insights
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline reporting workflows, enhance data visualization, and increase operational efficiency
- Drive innovation in reporting methodologies to ensure deliverables are actionable, digestible, and impactful for stakeholders
- Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
- 4+ years of experience in a social, marketing, or business analytics role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience translating data into insights, preferably with a focus in marketing or social media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
