Your Job Georgia-Pacific's Corrugated Packaging division is seeking a Technical Service Representative to support our corrugated packaging division for the Great Lakes region (Circleville, OH, Milian, MI, Owosso, MI box facilities). The Technical Services Representative will be assigned high visible national accounts and create value through offering technical solutions, preferred service, and project management to our customers.

What You Will Do - Each day is unique with the main responsibility to serve and maintain national accounts relationships by working closely with our national & local sales team and our customers to determine business priorities and activities.
- Support national and local business efforts through project management, overseeing designs, and ensuring quality and service for GP customers.
- Problem solves quality or service challenges by working with local plant cross-functional teams to analyze, communicate, and drive solutions including timely response of root cause analysis.
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customer operations utilizing automated equipment with an emphasis towards thru-put improvement.
- Work independently against a variety of objectives using time-management skills to meet and exceed internal and external expectations.
- Travel within Great Lakes area to manufacturing plants and customer locations regularly for technical services, account maintenance, inventory, and project-based assignments.
- Technical skills demonstrated daily utilizing tools such as Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
- Logging activities/data collection in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Experience with operations, maintenance, design, or quality in packaging
- Travel up to 50% of the time
What will Put You Ahead - Experience in packaging quality standards
- Corrugated design knowledge
- Production and/or operations experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing case erectors/case formers
- College degree, preferably in packaging science, or business-related field or advanced trade school
- Six Sigma or other quality related training
