Woodyard Team Member in Brunswick, GA. This position is an exciting entry-level opportunity with room for advancement. Woodyard Team Members support the facility production goals by performing various outdoor duties to maintain a safe environment. This operator also assists coworkers to help keep chutes, belts, and conveyor equipment free of debris. The Woodyard receives, unloads, and processes pulp wood in the form of tree-length logs as well as purchased wood chips by railcar and truck.
Compensation: Starting pay for this role is $21.09. This role also offers opportunities for overtime and employees are eligible for quarterly bonuses.
Shift: This position works a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, that includes weekends, holidays, and overtime.

What You Will Do - Position requires strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Work as a team to meet and exceed safety, production, and quality goals.
- Perform quality checks and keeping designated work area clean throughout shift.
- Operate outdoor machinery (Skid Steer or Front-End Loader) to defined standards and product specification targets.
- Safely and efficiently work in a fast-paced, industrial environment that is hot, cold, humid, and noisy and may include working around bark dust, oil, and grease.
- Work at elevated heights / walk up and down conveyor catwalks.
- Perform tasks that entail lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing and/or pulling for at least 12hrs per day
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - One year of experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or construction environment
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart phone
What Will Put You Ahead - Two or more year technical degree or higher
- Mechanical experience
